If you’ve ever said, “I wish I could make that…” — this is your sign.
SherriAnn Harris, Army Veteran and founder of Craft 2 You LLC, is bringing creativity, confidence, and a whole lot of laughs to Newport News. Her upcoming Beginner Cricut Class (Feb 17, 6–8 pm at Denbigh Community Center) is perfect for anyone who owns a Cricut… or stares at one like it’s a spaceship.
You’ll actually learn how to use it. No more guessing. No more YouTube rabbit holes at midnight.
And if sewing is more your vibe? She offers beginner sewing classes, too, hands-on, supportive, and zero judgment if you accidentally sew something inside out. It happens. We laugh. We fix it. We keep going.

City Hall could be getting a little less scattered. Newport News leaders are looking at a plan to bring several government offices under one roof instead of having departments spread all over town. The idea is to make services easier to access and cut down on long-term costs. Nothing is final yet, but if it moves forward, it could change how we handle city business in a pretty big way. The main room is lively and perfect for people watching. The back bar is darker and more intimate if you want things a little quieter.
Start with Tuna Poke Nachos or Mac and Cheese Egg Rolls. Go big with the Chilean Sea Bass or Espresso Crusted Lamb Chops. And don’t skip the Drunken Banana Pudding.
