A new fire station is coming to Turnberry and you are invited

Newport News is set to welcome its latest addition to public safety as the city breaks ground on Fire Station #11.

 

The community is invited to join the Newport News Fire Department at 680 Turnberry Blvd. on Friday, February 13, 2026, at 2:00 p.m.

 

The new station aims to enhance emergency response times and meet growing needs across local neighborhoods.

 

This investment reflects a commitment to both public safety and the dedicated firefighters serving the area day and night.

 

Residents are encouraged to come out, connect with first responders, and help celebrate a safer future for Newport News.
