If you’ve been thinking about adopting a pet, now’s the time. The Peninsula Regional Animal Shelter at 5843 Jefferson Ave. is waiving all adoption fees on October 18 and 19.
The event is sponsored by Casey Subaru through its annual Subaru Loves Pets campaign, which helps animals across Hampton Roads find loving homes.
