A $11.5 million expansion brings new jobs, local materials, and long-term work to the city |
Annandale Millwork and Allied Systems Corporation announced an $11.5 million expansion in Newport News, creating 154 new jobs for the city.
Governor Glenn Youngkin highlighted the decision as proof that companies continue to choose Virginia for major growth.
The new facility will manufacture roof and floor trusses, wall panels, and custom millwork—essentials for local construction projects.
Over the next three years, Annandale plans to invest more than $6 million in Virginia-grown forest products, supporting timber workers and suppliers statewide.
Founded in 1952 as a family business, the company’s choice to expand in Newport News reflects confidence in the region's skilled workforce.
Mayor Phillip Jones praised the investment as a boost for local families, signaling steady progress for the community. |
